About these terms
These terms govern the provision of mobile car detailing services by Driven Detail (operated by Joe Storey, Katoomba NSW 2780). By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.
Services
Driven Detail provides mobile car detailing services at your nominated location (home, workplace, or other agreed address) within our service area. The service area covers the Blue Mountains corridor from Lithgow to Springwood, including all suburbs in between.
Services are described on our website. We reserve the right to recommend a different service level if the condition of your vehicle requires it. We will always discuss this with you before proceeding.
Pricing and call-out fees
Prices for standard services are published on our website. Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST where applicable.
A call-out fee applies based on your distance from Katoomba:
- Within 10km: $20
- Within 20km: $30
- Within 30km: $40
- Within 40km: $50
The applicable call-out fee will be clearly stated when you book. For Paint Correction, Ceramic Coating, Headlight Restoration, and Custom Packages, a quote will be provided before work begins.
Booking and confirmation
Bookings can be made via our online booking form or by calling 0477 267 851 directly. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from Joe, either by email or phone. We aim to confirm bookings within 2 business hours during operating hours (Mon–Sun, 8am–6pm).
Please ensure your vehicle and nominated location are accessible at the agreed time. If access is not possible on arrival, a call-out fee may still apply.
Cancellation and rescheduling
We understand that plans change. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule:
- More than 24 hours notice: No charge. We will reschedule at no cost.
- Less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee of up to the applicable call-out fee may apply to cover travel costs if we are unable to fill the slot.
- No-show: If Joe arrives at your address and cannot access the vehicle or contact you, the full call-out fee applies.

Payment
Payment is due on completion of the service, once you are satisfied with the work. We accept EFTPOS, bank transfer, and cash. No payment is taken in advance for standard services.
Your responsibilities
To allow us to complete your service, please ensure:
- Your vehicle is accessible at the agreed time and location
- There is adequate space for Joe to work around the vehicle
- You have disclosed any known damage, fragile trim, or special considerations before work begins
- Valuables and personal items are removed from the vehicle before the detail
Pre-existing damage
We note the condition of your vehicle before beginning work. We will not be held liable for pre-existing damage, scratches, chips, or other defects that were present before the service. If you have concerns about pre-existing condition, please discuss them with Joe before work begins.
Satisfaction guarantee
We take pride in our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service, contact Joe immediately on the day and he will assess the issue and make it right where possible. This does not extend to conditions that are beyond what a detailing service can address (e.g. deep scratches below the clear coat, interior damage from age or heavy use).
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Driven Detail's liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the cost of that service. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Weather and access
Some services (particularly paint correction and ceramic coating) require sheltered conditions. If appropriate shelter is not available at your location, we may need to reschedule or limit the service. We will discuss this with you at the time of booking where possible.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page. Bookings made after any update are subject to the terms in effect at the time of booking.
